Root-To-Ghana

As part of a community mentorship initiative organized by the host institution (Fab Hub Ashanti), I worked with marginalized groups in Asiwa and Aboabo Kesse (Ashanti Region), introducing sustainable technologies and practical skills in food preservation and environmental awareness. The goal was to equip campers with knowledge they can apply locally, promoting self-sufficiency and green innovation.

Solar Dehydrator With Campers

As part of the "Root to Ghana" initiative, co-funded by the EU and GIZ, I contributed to the development of a solar-powered food dehydrator designed specifically for campers. This system optimizes passive solar heat and airflow to dry food efficiently, promoting sustainable preservation methods in off-grid environments.

The demo day was a highlight of my journey with the Root to Ghana initiative, where I presented the Solar Dehydrator to an inspiring group of campers, counselors, and the founder of Fab Hub Ashanti, Ama Duncan. The event took place in a collaborative and energetic atmosphere, bringing together young innovators and community leaders to explore sustainable solutions for off-grid living.
